Descrição

Master the treatment of complex shoulder injuries. This training offers a technical immersion in the surgical management of mid-shaft clavicle fractures and posterior acromioclavicular dislocation. We present a simultaneous approach through a minimally invasive bridge technique, aiming for anatomical restoration and shoulder stability.

Training Focus:

  • Surgical treatment of mid-shaft clavicle fracture.
  • Approach to posterior acromioclavicular dislocation.
  • Minimally invasive bridge technique.
  • Vertical and horizontal stabilization of the acromioclavicular joint.

Detailed Content:

  • Operating Room Preparation: Mastery in the infiltration of hemostatic solution for bleeding control.
  • Creation of Accesses and Tunnels: Creation of medial and lateral portals in the clavicle for bridge approach. Use of osteotome for dissection and creation of subperiosteal tunnel.
  • Reduction and Fixation of Clavicle Fracture: Methodology for maintaining reduction with digital manipulation. Systematic sequence of screw insertion for primary stability, with verification of segmental alignment.
  • Approach to the Coracoid Process: Access and positioning of retractors for optimization of exposure.
  • Vertical Stabilization with Fast-Fit: Technique for introducing a tissue anchor at the base of the coracoid for effective alignment with the clavicle. Precise positioning of the hole in the clavicle to prevent anterior displacement during tightening. Creation of separate holes in the coracoid and clavicle.
  • Horizontal Stabilization and Ligament Reconstruction: Use of a 5.0mm anchor for fixation and reconstruction of acromioclavicular ligaments.Horizontal stabilization complement connecting the distal fragment of the clavicle to the acromion.

Included Material:

  • Detailed PDF: This educational material in PDF format provides a practical and objective summary of the entire surgical procedure. It addresses the condition of the injury, surgical accesses, field preparation, the steps for fixing the clavicle fracture and acromioclavicular dislocation, including the use of Fast-Fit devices and anchors for stabilization, and the expected outcomes, serving as a quick and effective reference guide for the technical steps.
