• Accurate Radiographic Evaluation: Methodology to identify the base of the coracoid process using anteroposterior (AP) and axillary (apical) images for planning the insertion of the device.
• Demarcation and Optimized Surgical Access: Planning of the longitudinal incision from the coracoid process to the lateral third of the clavicle, using a diluted adrenaline solution to minimize subcutaneous bleeding and ensure a clean field.
• Controlled Dissection and Tissue Preservation: Performing single longitudinal incisions, maintaining the same direction to avoid soft tissue injuries and bleeding, with slow progression to optimize the outcome.
• Exposure and Palpation of Key Structures: Palpation technique of the anterior end of the clavicle and the coracoid process with digital exploration and adequate retraction for safe exposure.
